Yamaha aw16g to ADAT?

I own an ADAT machine and a friend wants to dump his individual tracks from his AW16 to my deck so we can add to and do a final mix on my equipment.
Is there an interface I can purchace that will seperate the tracks from the AW16 and dump them onto my ADAT tracks?

Thanks,

I've been a well-satisfied AW16g owner since they came out and unfortunately there's nothing I know of that will convert the AW16g native format or the WAV files it exports to the ADAT format.

The AW16g is mighty portable though --- can't you just bring it with the tracks inside to your friends' studio and patch it in?

Yes, that would work fine if I could find a way to sync the two machines. The ideal is to record tracks at home on the AW16 and then sync that up with the adat machine to add tracks to it. This way we could use the AW16 to mix along with the ADAT tracks through the studio board. I believe JL Cooper made a Syncing device for some of the digital to analog stuff, but I could be thinking of something different.
