Ive read how the preamps on these arent the greatest. im a little worried. I was going to upgrade from an old tascam 414 tape deck to a yamaha aw16G, but this is the only thing im worried about. Can you guys recommend a good mic preamp? I can spend up to about $500. I need a warm, vintage, sounding pre. how are thoes behringer tubed ones? I know they're not amazing, but are they worth it? thanks!
