Hey all,

I need help with my mixing/mastering.. No matter what I do, there's always a great deal of noise in the final mixes. I hope it is because I don't fully understand my 01v.. The more channels I use, the more noise I get.. doesn't matter how I configure the faders/channel levels, after I have normalized the wav, there's more noise than music (well not really but there is irritating NOISE anyway..).. How do I get rid of it???? I know there's probably lots of factors.. cabling and stuff.. but.. agh! It's so annoying! :(

To test the minimum noise level on your mixer turn up all the faders with no signal going through them. Your mixer will always be at least that noisy. If it is quiet than the problem is your tracks. Normalizing raises your noise floor is not recomended on all of your tracks. I seem to recall hearing that the O1v was a little noisy.
