Yamaha 01v adat cable

Hey, I finally got the stuff ive been wanting for a while. its not hooked up yet but my question is, I have a yamaha 01v mixer and i got the adat expansion card for it which i am going ot connect to the terratec ews88d card on my computer. What kind of adat cord do i need and where can i get it. If you have any advice or links please let me know. thank you very much
also, do i need two adat cables, one going out and one going in, maybe to transfer information back to the mixer?
 
I use 2 Adat cable because I'monitoring from my 01v. And I love that setup. 0 latency (of course) and I use the 17 to 24 channels 01v EQs, FXs, Dynamics.

"What kind of adat cord" ?? Standard lightpipe. I never seen any other "kind" of adat cables :|
 
Yeah, im going to be monitoring from the mixer i assume. would i be able to use them as monitors and also speakers for the computer if im listening to cd's or watching dvd's? and would you able to tell me where i can get those cables, maybe for a good buy?
 
could i get those cables at a place like best buy or circuit city?
 
dunno where you should buy dude...

These cable arent expensive.. like 20$ CAD for a 10' cable.
 
i went to radio shack today and bought an optical cable, which turned out to be the wrong cord i think, unless i just dont know how to connect the cable. thatsa what the guy told me when i asked for a lightpipe. and then best buy didnt have anything. so where can i get one of these cables?
 
They dont have Adat lightpipe cables in you local music store??
