XV5050 and MPC help

I need help!! I got an xv5050 and for some reason I cant hear any sounds when I change the patch to another part. I have my xv5050 hook up to my mpc. It seems like only part 1 works. When i go to part 2,3 and setting the mpc midi the same channel as the xv5050. I cant hear no sounds. The manual is not really helping. Someone please help me.. THis is killing me............

Are you sure the output assignments in the 5050 are correct. I don't have a unit or a manual in front of me - so I can't give specifics - but -

In preformance mode the output can be assigned to output A, B, C or D. There is also I believe a stereo out assignment. If you do not assign the signal to the output you are connected to you will not get a sound.

Have you pluged headphones into the 5050 to make sure the MIDI signal is generating sound? Or at least made sure the MIDI signal indicator is lighting up?
