I'm running XP and Cubase!Go 2.0 (planning to upgrade to
the real thing) on a Audiophile 2496 and doing mostly fine.
Only got some problems with the AudioMixer. When trying
to mute a channel from the AudioMixer it produces a weird
repeating noise and the program freezes. Instead muting the channel in the ArrangeWindow or MainWIndow works fine.
Is it maybe the mixer functions that come with the Audiophile
and kind of collide with Cubease mixer?
Besides that I think XP is a much safer system and with
a couple of patches coming up (more drivers etc.) it will
be perfect.
