x-26 - simultaneous recording

hi there

just bought a x-26 off ebay and am wondering how to use it......

my main question is, can you record four tracks simultaneously? there seems to be loads of inputs but couldn't work it out.

any help most appreciated

No, you cannot record 4 tracks at once. If you notice the switches for arming your tracks to record only allow you to do 1 or 3, or 2 and 4. Those extra inputs are there for recording multiple line sound sources such as drum machines, keyboards. You can record two tracks at once. A left and a right but it will only give you a stereo recording,so what you recorded is on both tracks. Did you get a manual? If not I have most of mine if you have any more questions. Good luck. Pj
