I am looking for something similar to my 8pre but usb instead of firewire. I would love something from presonus since they're pretty Linux friendly, but anything with 6-8 xlr-1/4 inputs. Midi would be great, as well as individual 48v phantom, but neither is going to be a deal breaker. Looking for something pretty equal value-wise, but shoot me some ideas we we'll deal! 8pre is in fantastic condition, nothing's wrong with it at all. I have it mounted in a rack right now, so it may have a little scratching where the screws go in, but no biggie. I can get some pix up if anyone wants. I have the original box as well as all paperwork/discs, and I'll include a couple cables, a long one with two FW800 ends and a shorter one with FW400.
