It's a pretty poor attempt at looking retro, Japanese & odd.
I like many odd guitars - most of mine are oddish jap machines from the 70's and earlier.
However the Spaceranger is just sad - that and it seems destined to have the lower bout snapped off sooner rather than later.
Strangely the Wangcaster is more "honest" in design & concept.

Maybe I'm a prick or something, but I'd proudly(and publicly) caress the neck and softy stroke the strings of the Wangcaster! I wish they'd ask me to play The Star Spangled Banner at Wrigley Field before a Cub's game. The Wangcaster would be the guitar I'd use!
