The usual street price for a 424.
This is the third Tascam product I've bought online. The rackmount cassette deck and control surface I bought on Ebay were very poorly packed (with shoe boxes and wads of newspaper!
) and turned out to be damaged or defective, so I returned them.
The seller of the 424 says he tends to over-pack things, so I think this one will turn out all right.

Yes I did and it reminded me of how cool those units were. I had one some years back and some how it's no longer with me soooooooooooooooo I want another.
Maybe I'd be so lucky as to find one at a yard sale for $10. like Luther did.

I have 3 MKII's and 1 MKIII, along with a 238, 464 (mint), 488 mkII, 644, & 2-688's
Love my cassette format.
I highly recommend the 424 MKII. One of my favs. That's why I have 3! In case they break...but also, for different locations.
