Relax, kids. I got this covered. 
It came down to a choice between an M-216 and an M-308, both at around $260 shipped. The 308 won because the seller guaranteed it fully functional except for three VU lamps. The 216 seller only guaranteed his to power up.
Anyway, I have four other working TEAC/Tascam mixers that I want out of the way, if anyone is interested. (FS thread to follow.)
