Looking for a Blue Bluebird. Let me know how much you want for yours shipped to Canada. Thanks!

n.b.: Budget is around $200 plus whatever shipping costs.

Awwww com'on mayne. Ya gotta contribute something before you go asking for equipment!

Just started getting my feet wet in the game -- not much in this head to contribute! :)

I've got cash to make up for my lack of experience and knowledge...

Brampton, Ontario. Just started studying music at york university.

Marvelous:
A good friend of mine got her masters in music at York.
I'm keeping mine but keep bumping the thread.
You'll get a bite.

Only if you give me a bluebird !

moresound likes mics. I don't know if he has a bluebird, but if he does, he may be willing to trade with you if you have another mic.

Sorry I'm speaking on behalf of you moresound! haha :p

Ahh, even if he were willing, I don't have any mics I could trade :(

They're pretty hard to find used.
How much are you willing to spend.
Just to give folks a rough idea.

Why a bluebird?
The $200. mark that you set would get you a new Blue Spark ..... not only comes in orange but now in blue!

I'm looking for something that'll do a good job of recording vocals, and also not do a bad job of acoustic guitars. I've heard that the bluebird is a 'swiss army knife' type?

And I just figured that the spark was kind of a toy in the blue line. It's been a while since I've bought anything new :) I usually think if I buy used, I can get something better for less money...

Shipping is a whole $65!

At that price, I may as well just buy one from the L&M.

By the way, if I buy a new blue mic from an ebay authorized dealer, do I get any of the warranty in Canada?

Oh sorry. I'm from the U.S. and it was free for me.

It depends on the seller. Some give full manufactures warranty, some don't.

I bought a couple from the States on E-Bay at $232 apiece.
I had to pay combined shipping so it worked out at around $250 apiece in Canada. I then sold one to someone up here.
That way we both got a good deal and I got the coveted Bluebird.
MS made a good suggestion but you are correct. Hold out for the Bluebird.
Up your budget by about $30 and buy a new one on E-Bay.

Bumppp

I see someone selling them for a little more over $250, but that's almost buying new. And I still don't know if I buy a new one off an ebay dealer, if i'll get the warranty. Do I even need the warranty? Or are these mics pretty good at not suddenly crapping out?
