wow, wish there was more like this!

A couple of cautions;

1- The seller has no feedback and in fact has no history with Ebay at all.

2 - The seller doesn't claim it to be new old stock only that he has never opened the box himself.

While the box does appear to be a factory sealed one, the resolution of the photos are not high enough to really see if the boxes tape seals are single layer top and bottom or if there are more then one layer of tape, meaning the unit may well have been open and used and carefully repackaged for sale.

The MMC100 unit's box has several visible layers of tape and a green circular sticker on its box which indicates to me the unit was a refurbished one from TASCAM as it was their practice to label the B stock items that way. Sony does the same thing too.

If anyone here is going to bid on this item, make sure they ask the seller questions about what I have brought up and ask for a higher resolution shot of the box's tape seals.

Cheers! :)

It does make a guy drool just a little though.

Yeah, I agree.

The thought of an actual virginal TSR-8 is a cool thing! :cool:

I have just heard of so many Ebay horror stories lately that I have become a bit skeptical at this point. :eek:

Sorry for raining on anyone's parade.

Cheers! :)
