I have had this funky thing on my computer for some while now. It's just a mess around I did and it features my inept horn playing Haven't played since third grade).

If anyone wants to chop it up and lay down some tracks to it feel free :D
It's rather monotonous as is sits but I think someone could have some fun with it.

Anyway, if not that's fine too.

HAAAA! Thats pretty damn cool :cool: Its a real pleasure to hear an actual trumpet here. I dont know if I ever have :confused: Sounds good!

I would be lost. I dont have an ounce of funk in my body. :o :( I wish I did, I respect those that do. I dont. :D Very cool tune.

Thanks David:D I can get pretty funk impared too or I may have done something with this ;) I do have some funk in me, I think having been forced at one time to take up the bass helped. Now I am really happy we lost our bass player once apon a time. Playing bass gets you back to basics and gives you such rythmic & melodic freedom. Mostly just play when I record now, but still love it. I just don't keep my caluses up to snuff on my picking hand.

Reminds me of a funk band I used to listen to a while back. That bass sounds great - lots of treble and string sound. Perfect for funk. That drum rhythm is cool - I like the high hat closed/open combination. Sounds like a few tracks of horns overlaid. The only thing I remember from Grade 3 is how to write longhand and that's pretty shakey now that everything in done on computers... Cool FS......
 
Sounds good. :cool: I like the bass. Sounds kind of like a theme song to an 80's cops show...think law & order but 80's...or maybe 70's...

Too bad I suck so much...probably couldn't play a long to the timing. :(

Trust me If I remembered how to play the horn I would have more than 4 or 5 notes in the song:D The bass guitar has an active parametric so it pulls off some cool sounds. I'm pretty happy with it.


I'm just hoping someone can have some fun with it. I'd love to see someones take on it.

this is a rather dumb question-----how would i go about adding to this from my end?
 
The bass does sound great. Really like the horn sounds. I'd try something but unless you're looking for a dance remix i'm probably quite useless in this genre and can only offend you. Very cool, can't wait to hear what gets done with this.

Well you could import the stereo track into your daw and try adding to it... I think there is enough room in the mix that it's possible or if you really want to mess with it I could see if I have the individual tracks still and load them on my server and you could load those.


BPM is 90

Do you have the ability to import mp3's into your daw?

I'm not sure I answered your question?
