Unless you're happy with the fact that a migrant worker or a Burger King employee is making more than you.
Seriously, if you're currently working on anything for free -- unless it's as an intern -- you might as well just take up a career as a janitor for peep show booths and preserve some of your pride and/or dignity. If you think that you're somehow going to be "discovered," keep dreaming. It don't work that way.
