Hi guys! I´m a happy owner of a Firepod... I just emailed Presonus, and they tell me that´s not possible to use 2 different interfaces because of the Asio drivers...
Do you think is there any chance (DAW or drivers upgrade) to use in the near future 2 different interfaces..?
I think that the Firepod+an EMU 1212M (just to get the ADAT I/O) would be a GREAT GREAT couple...
Please, give me some hope! ;)

Who knows? Unless someone out there is working on something as we speak, i dont think we would know. Technology moves fast, so id put a small bet on that we will be seeing it in the future. We can but hope :)

I believe that you could use both in WDM mode and sync them with the SPDIF. I'm not totally sure on that, as I have not done this myself, but I think that others have discussed this on here before.

Try it and let us know! I am interested.
They are gonna say no because they want you to use another firepod. If you have another interface give it a try, save your configuration so you can roll back if needed.

Good luck.

Can anyone give some insight on using both with WDM? I don´t have the EMU1212M so i can´t try... but if someone knows about it, it would be great to know!
btw... yes, presonus is about to release a driver to use 2 or more firepods, but i don´t think that the driver will work with other interfaces...

The E-mu is crap on WDM. The only WDM support it has is STEREO, so you can kiss the ADAT idea goodbye.
