Word to the wise when working with MDF...

Wear a resporator, latex gloves and long sleaves. The dust from this type of wood(?) is horrible... I have MDF'd my nose, my goatee, and my skin burns!

Oh and measure twice cut once. Or better yet, get those nice folks at the Home Depot to make all your cuts for you! (@ $0.50 per cut, i'll make someone else do the work!)
 
Maybe if you need something ripped to get it into a table saw..........

I won't even let those clowns load my truck!

Yeah, MDF is nasty stuff. I much prefer birch shop ply.

Ditto. Especially MDF. Especially if you need precision.They don't know what those little lines on the tape are for. :p

Ditto. Except as a substrate for laminate or veneer work. Or speaker enclosures.
But yea, give me good ole Birch ply any day. :D
