LOL! I learned all about video cards over the last five days and discovered that any nVidia 6* series will drive the new 1680x1050 LCD! Got one at Fry's for $35 after rebate, 6200 LE AGP8x 128MB. Installation was easier than expected.
 
Congrats on the score! :)

128 megs might still be on the weak side to do full motion HDTV and leading edge video games but for everything else, it should be cool! ;)

So how's that new monitor of yours looking?:)

It looks sweet! Wasn't too good at 1600 x 1200, but now it's right.

We don't play games and we don't have an HD source yet. I might get one of those USB gizmos that will let me record over air HD. Like Bears games and stuff.

I'm enjoying my new monitor also! :)

Just finished calibrating it a while ago and it's looking mighty fine!
