I had another pc crash this week.
Its an older Compaq Presario desktop/tower Windows 7Ultimate....nothing fancy.
But what happened is a freind stuck a usb cell phone cable into one of the USB ports, and "blaaaaaaaaaaaaaam" OFF it went.
The power supply was out.
Hooked up a power supply from another unit and this thing powered up.
But the pc wouldnt boot up, wouldnt even accept F10.
So I pulled the hardrive and it seems fine and didnt lose anything.
Did the motherboard go? or the CPU?
Ive never seen this before and was curious if its a simple fix or toss it to the junk pile?
2008 ish pc...Im not spending any money on it for CPU or motherboards...but was wondering what might have happened?
