Hey Rami. Nice song, amazing production - I've been working on a song for a couple of days (first time in the 'studio' for months) and thought I'd come check out the clinic to give me some perspective and you just make me want to give up! It sounds totally professional to me, nice job!
Thanx a lot Johny. You have nothing to worry about and no reason to give up. Your stuff is always great sounding and very unique and recognizable. :)

Thanx a lot.

I know the lyrics make no specific reference to it.....but this song is so apropos these days with all the zombie/walking dead shows and movies that have been coming out.

It would be a cool theme song for one of those shows/movies. :D

Were you thinking about any of that when you wrote it?

Ha! Yeah, no I asn't thinking of that at all. In fact, I have no idea what this song is really about. The phrase "Woke Up Dead" is just something that came up in a conversation after I got out of the hospital. Something like, "Good thing I called 911, or else I could have woke up dead". Then I said "Hey, that would be a great name for a tune"...not realizing it already was at the time. :)

That was really cool!!! I would love to throw in a powerful chorus with this!

Loved the control you have over the bottom end...kick/bass, no marshmellow kick drum, no mud... hits hard and sweet.

Is it a wooden snare? It has a very meaty sound...and I'm told (cause I don't actually know) that wood shells provide a darker sound...

Nice one, i'd open the hit hats and add one more guitar layer (that would jump out) to the last chrous/final part of the song!

Thanx a lot Ace. My snare is actually fibreglass, as is my whole kit, not including the cymbals. :D I've been playing a set of Tempus (not very popular) for about 20 years or so.

Thanx a lot. Yes, I see what you're saying and it makes sense. I'm usually pretty good at orchestrating my tunes so that the last chorus has something the other ones don't. I guess I just don't hear this chorus as really being the main hook of the song. But you're probably right. I'm going to think about doing SOMETHING to that last chorus.

Thanx a lot.
