wma/mp3/wave converter software

Was wondering what is the best FREE converter out there? I thought my Sonar Studio 4 had a wma/mp3 converter in it already but looks like it doesn't.

Only way I can do it is if I burn the wma to a cd then cd to mp3 onto hard drive but thats a big hassle. What is the best quality do-it-all converter out there for Sonar, free or to buy? Thanks!

Search the threads here...this has been done at least a few times. The freebie that comes to mind is WinLame (http://winlame.sourceforge.net/download.php) There are others out there.

I think there's one out there that's actually a FREE Cakewalk encoder... CWENC it's called... I may be off subject here though...

I use both cwenc and dbpoweramp. With those two at hand, you can do practically anything.
