MoonMix Studios
Tried to export a project to the Windows Media format (.wma) today. SONAR (XL 2.2) just sat there...& did nothing. Zipo...Nada.

Didn't even get an error message or anything, just...nothing.

Anyone ever have this happen before?

Thanks,

Do you need to install the Windows Media Player Encoder?

Q.

Qwerty,

Do you need to install the Windows Media Player Encoder?
Apparently...I do (since I had no idea whatsoever this was required.)

Let me search the help files tonight (which...I guess I sorta' should've efforted before I posted); & I'll get back.

Is it a download?

Does it cost money?

Thanks, man.

I'm just curious: Why do you want your hard created masterpiece in WMA-format?

For secure streaming of our band's compositions from our website...to sell music over the internet? Why else, fellas?

(not real crazy over http streaming. Our view is...listen to the the tunes as many times as you like, but with no permanent file residing on the end user's hard disk. If you like it, buy it.)

BTW - Why doesn't it note any info on the necessary WMP Encoder in SONAR's help files?
