Hey when applying acoustic treatment to my room walls, what type of paste could I use to stick the acoustic to the walls without leaving sticky marks I have to scrub off and any other things of that matter.

I've been building some acoustic panels for my studio space. Just some rockwool covered in fabric. It's worked so far to use the sticky velcro (3M stuff I found at Staples). Doesn't leave any residue.

Thanks. Im going to look into it. How much would some rockwool cost and how woudl I go by covering and etc all that in fabric.

I chose some white light-weave canvas (lose enough to breathe through), and wrapped it around a piece of 2x4 rockwool Christmas present style using regular velcro (it has adhesive, but I stiched it on to secure it). So basically it's some fabric with velcro in each corner and down the middle.

I went with some Roxul Safe n' Sound...similar acoustic specs to OC 703 and it was about $35 for 8 sheets of 2x4 3" thick at Home Depot. Use OC 703 or whatever is available readily in your area and is similar to the 703...check out some similar products here:

The other option of course is to build a frame out of 1x4s, stick some rockwool inside and mount it using picture frame wire. My hand saw gets tiring, so I opted to use the wood-free method instead.
