Okay here's the short and sweet.

One set of speakers
One MBox 2
One Yamaha S08

How do I connect the speakers, MB2, and S08 so that if I turn on just the piano to practice, sound comes out and if I want to work on a mix through MB2 sound comes out there as well?

I am thinking some type of patchboard or something where I can plug both the MB2 and S08 as inputs and have the two 1/4" going out to the speakers.

What am I looking for?

you're looking for a little 4 channel mixer.
zzounds.com or sweetwater.com

run stereo outs of each unit into the 4 channels of the mixer and then the main outs of that into your speakers.

That would work great. Plus you get mic preamps too, in case you ever need more than you have on the interface.

Okay, I picked up the MG 10/2 today and I swear I can't figure anything out to save my life! I am still not exactly sure now that I have this thing how to make it work in conjuction with my Mbox2. I guess I need to read this Pro Tools LE6 IGNITE book and see what I can learn out of it. I can get sound from a mic test through MBox to MG to speakers via live and playback, albiet not a very loud one with an SM58. I can get sound through the MG with the S08 and I can record via midi into Protools (I did it once but couldn't duplicate) but no sound comes out of the speakers when I playback the s08 recording?!?!?!?!?!?!

I am using midi out of S08 to MB2, L & R out of S08 to MG, Out of MB2 into MG, and out of MG to speakers.

I thought I could plug into the mixer with mics, but then I realized I think I need 2 MORE cables to go from the mixer to the MB2 creating a loop b/w the mixer and the MB2. Does that sound right?

Where's the smiley that's pulling its hair out?
