wiring and switches

ok heres the deal:
i'm trying to wire my guitar for series/parrallel right? i'm gonna use three on-off-on toggle switches for the pickup selection and a on-on toggle switch to switch between series or parallel. i've got the switches, but how do i know which terminals on the switch are hot? each switch has 6 terminals on it. if any one knows of a good website that explains this stuff please tell me that also.

Gee, that was helpful...

a goodlet, sorry, but I don't know how to help with wiring. Just annoyed at a silly comment like the one above. (Does that make my comment as useless as Hixmix's? Probably.)

Check www.stewmac.com. I think they have some tutorials that help in this type of thing.
