Wireless problem

I have a wireless keyboard & mouse that have suddenly gone on the fritz. Doesn't seem to be the batteries. Is there any way to hook in my other ps2 kbd & mouse? I don't want to turn the PC off and lose a bunch of stuff

If you're running a modern OS and hardware, then it should work fine to plug in a PS/2 mouse/keyboard on the fly. Technically, the spec doesn't allow for such shenanigans. But it generally works fine.
