(Here is the issue, I record my own stuff (sx3 w/firepod) in various rooms and end up running back and fourth from my so called control room to the room with drums or whatever in it. I just need to be able to navigate, play, record, loop, set markers and maybe arm tracks. I was thinking about getting a Frontier Designs Tranzport Wireless DAW Controller..The frontier controller has a Jog wheel and a neeto LCD that tells me the track Im on. But its like 200 bucks. Then I figured what about a Wireless PC keyboard. I could use the number pad for most of my controls, but can I assign other hot keys like hit "m" to apply a marker? I dunno quite yet. But it seems like a good idea since I can use + and - as my job wheel. So anyone have any thoughts or experience on such things?

Thanks for your input guys/gals.
