I have the opion of installing a double pane window or bricking up a square whole in my recording room. The walls are 9 inch concrete and the room overlooks a road where there is plenty of noise. Any suggestions?

Well the window almost definitely will be your weakest link in sound isolation, and will probably allow a lot of the road noise into your room. If you're looking to sound"proof" the room, then brick it up.

I agree.
Unless there is some super good reason for the window, I'd close it off for sure.

Kool... Thanks.

Also tryin to create a monitor b/w my control room and recordin room. As studio builders are scarce in Pak its pretty much a DIY Job. Any useful linx u guys can suggest

And another positive is that you can always remove the block if you already have the overhead support to carry the empty void, which you do, and put a window back in if you decide in the future you, or someone else using the space, wants one.
