Not sure where to post this, but it relates to me being able to play files I create: suddenly I get no sound in Windows Media Player. I can play files in Real Player, so the files are OK. I upgraded to the latest WMP version, the file played, next time I tried it - no sound again. Any ideas? Thanks.

grasping at straws...there is a volume control on WMP...is it set to zero?

Your files are 44.1kHz and 16-bit? If not, WMP can't handle them.

maybe its a broadcast wav file..i notice my WMP wont touch em if its done in a broadcast wav...or maybe you have the "mute" button actually checked
