To quote cakewalk: "WDM drivers are only available in Windows 2000 and XP. Please use the Microsoft WDM drivers that are supplied on the OS installation disk."

I'm using Windows 2000.

Does anybody know the difference between Microsoft's WDM drivers for the Audigy and Creative's WDM drivers?

Don't know about the Audigy, but the SB Live drivers on their website were buggy as hell. :( The drivers that came with 2000 worked better for me.

Every time I installed the Creative drivers, Sonar/Home Studio 2002 told me my card was not capable of stereo audio playback. The 2000 drivers worked just fine.

I haven't heard anything negative about Audidy drivers, so if you want to give it a try...

Just be prepared to uninstall the newer drivers if they don't work. Sometimes that involves re-installing 2000.
