Win XP Home Edition doesn't support dual processors!!

Good ole ars. My second favorite website.

For the money you spend on a home studio and a dual processor machine, I don't know if this will be a very big deal. Especially considering MS' buyers.

Hi. I know about the advantage of having two hard drives for computer recording. But what's the advantage of having two processors? Is there any? Or is it like having two girlfriends (an apparent advantage, not a real one)?

Depends on the application. Assuming you have an OS that supports multiple processors, if the software you're using is designed to take advantage of the multiple processors then you will see improved performance. In other applications you'll see little to no improvement.
