Long story short. My PC crashed. I ended up with a refurb that has WIN7 64 bit installed. Do I install REAPER 6.13 32 bit or 64 bit? is it that simple or is it more involved? Do you need more info?
Thanks
Jack

If you're running 64bit Windows, run 64bit Reaper, although I didn't see any difference between the two on my old laptop. All my newer versions are 64bit. The only oddity might be some newer 64bit VSTs might not run correctly on 32 bit systems. Reaper usually bridges between the two, but sometimes there could be a problem.

You have a 64 bit OS, so that version should be more efficient.

All you projects should move seamlessly as well.

Thank You Rich. The general consensus seems to be 64 bit. I'll give it a shot.
Thanks,
Jack

The only compelling reason to use 32-bit would be if you have an old 32-bit VST that doesn't run correctly in bridged mode.

Start with 64 bit. If a VST doesn't run correctly, you can always uninstall and reinstall 32 bit.
