i have a mpc 2kxl (on the way via ups) a midi-controller and and a cpu with a soundblaster live card, is there anyway to use my cpu as a sound module, by loading .wav files into the soundcard playing the midi controller into the mpc to record sequence data i also have sonar and cubase i already have tons of .wav files on the cpu do you think this will work
 
Dont know what a 2kxl is...but your soundblaster has GM onboard sounds which can be triggered via midi from your controller. You may also be able to import soundfonts to the card with something like vienna. Or Sonar and Cubase may have a midi instrument plug in that allows imports of sounds to create virtual instruments which can also be triggered via midi.
