will this system be good and stable?

i need to upgrade my computer, and i was thinking of using this set-up:


AMD ATHLON XP 1900
Gigabyte GA-7DX mobo (AMD 761 chipset)
512 MB DDRAM
80 GB Western DIgital HDD (audio)
20 GB HDD (system)
15 GB HADD (back-up dive)
DVD-ROM
CD-R
M-Audio Delta 44
VooDoo 3 video (no money to upgrade video card)

anyone know of any conflicts between the Delta 44 and this setup? thanks

The delta should run fine. Make sure you have a 300watt psu for it. I lost a 250 watt a while back in an athlon 1Ghz it just burned out.

Also make sure you don't get a cheep dvd. The cheep one that I have puts pops and clicks in the audio when its cuting in and out. Its really bad when watching dvd's.
