Will record, but wont record...

Since I got Cakewalk Guitar Tracks Pro about a month ago, everything has worked wonderfully. Now, I've run into a problem. First, I'll arm a track for recording. Say I'm recording drums, for example. I'll hit record, and go play the drums. While I'm playing, under the track, you can see all the waveforms and stuff. It's definitely recording. but when i go over to press stop, it stops, but everything i just recorded literally disapeers. I never changed any setting, it just started doing this yesterday. I did get an error message when trying to open Cakewalk saying something about the soundcards, but i pressed "use anyway." And it worked, until about the afternoon. Can somebody help? Thanks

it probably is some compatibility issue with the sound card. how do you have it set up and what sound card are you using?

i remember see a choice somewhere as to whether or not you want to save recorded tracks...search around in your tools and stuff..maybe it got switched to do not save somehow

Try this:

Go to Options -> Audio -> Advanced and choose to only use MME-drivers.
