Bit off topic, but why not run that baby @ 3ghz ?
The G0 stepping it hardly breaks a sweat with a bit of an overclock and stays perfectly stable, but the speed gain is certainly noticeable. An 'adequately decent' motherboard contributes towards stability, however anything but the very cheapest should cut it - you don't need anything fancy. As for temps... I have a nice Noctua HSF for mine but I've heard the temps stay low (again, talking about the G0 stepping here... B3 ran a bit hotter) even with the stock cooler.
Just a thought!
