Will a effects processor make my vocals seem more part of the song, or just give me better producin options?

It sounds like you're either using a REALLY bad mic, or you have some routing issues going on - Bad phase cancellation going on.

What's the chain your using now?

umm

i have a rode Nt1a mic and a Focusrite Voice Master Pro.

You said i have some routing issues going on - Bad phase cancellation going on. and What's the chain i'm using now?

what do u mean? can u explain and how i can make it better?

The mic into the preamp into what, and then what's happening with the signal (effects, aux's, busses, routing, etc).

ummm

mic to preamp to Soundblaster Audigy 2 Platinum soundcard.

I have all the effects on my preamp on. Opitcal Expander, Harmonics, Compressor, Tube, EG and DE-esser

I would suggest that you record with no effects, just the mic into the preamp. Get the best sound you can that way and then add effects if needed. If I misread your post and you have already done that, I apologize, but you have to start with a well-recorded un-processed sound.

ok

thanks, BUT hey is there any special way to lay a verse then double that whole verse on another track. I mean so it sounds good. Like LUNI COLEONE.

Yeah, it's called singing technique combined with a few punch ins. :)

You should really consider getting rid of the NoiseBlaster and step up to a better audio interface.

yea
