Why no rack mounted boxes?

Dig the Lynx 2 card, but why in the world would i spend a grand and have to have a thousand cables layed out everywhere?

Dont they know that with computers we have enough cables already?

I dont get it, I have a nice home studio and want to elimainate the ugliness of cables and the mess of them

Its poor marketing.

Digi has one, but the majority of cards dont and it really confuses me as to why.

Anyone know of a rock solid card that has a rack mounted box compariable to the Lynx card? because i wouldnt mind spending a few bucks more to rid my studio of tangled cables...

Looks like a nice unit, appreciate the link, how do you compare the Lynx 2 to the MOTU card?

I use an old peavey outboard mixer, will the MOTU run with that? whats the MOTU like in 98/ME or XP processors?
