$110~ after rebate for a 19inch analog and digital LCD monitor

I got mine in today, so glad I got rid of my 19 inch CRT which only had 17.6" diagonal of viewable surface area. So I went up in resolution and surface area. Even comes with a DVI cable if you have a DVI out on your video card. I know the rage is widescreen these days, but for $100 and some change, I thought why not. Gives me extra room for tracks and mixers, wish I had the cash to get two, one from each of the links above....as the rebates are one per houshold. Hanns-G gets good reviews for what they are. Mine has no dead pixels, or stuck pixels that I can see. Anyways thought I would share, and get those of you stuck on 15-17inch CRTs a heads up that your recording process can become much more productive with a larger screen at a higher resolution. Some of your 19Inchs and 20-21inch CRT users may not go up in resolution with this monitor as its 1280x1024, but it will wiegh 10 times less.

Sorry for the spam...lol.

LCD screens rock! Just the space reclaimed alone is totally worth the investment.

This is GOOD spam! I have 19" CRT and it's HUGE. I've been wanting a nice flat screen but wasn't willing to drop $400-$500 for one.

I've never heard of Hanns G. Has anyone had any experience with this company's products?

Mine is a 22" crt. Packed up it's like 75 pounds. I definately need a lcd but damn it if I ain't broke at the moment.

edit: concerning the rebate, i've heard some bad things about www.onrebate.com. does anyone have experience with them?

That is where I found the deal, seems like some have already gotten the $100 back, just be darn sure that you follow the instuctions to a "T", dot your "i"'s and double check everything along the 5 step process, I think that is how many steps I had to jump over. And I hope its more along the lines of 2-5weeks for the check and not 10 weeks like reported in that thread by one guy. Anyways yes it seems like tigerdirect and onrebate are sister companies, so the office depot one may be safer if its still working not sure if it is. YMMV
