Who owns swut?????

If I am using modelers, drum/rhythm software, software synths, DAW's etc to make some songs and may think about selling them someday............do I totally own the rights to the music I created using other companies sounds? For example, If I use Guitar Rig xx (whatever # it is on), to make a song and get it on iTunes, do I owe partial royalties or other hidden money to Guitar Rig xx??? Is it assumed that I own the sounds I use to create my music???

I think you're good (although I guess it depends on the company really), as long as you've purchased all of the software and other stuff you're using!

If you bought the instruments, sample packs, plugins, etc... you have the right to make the music with them and you don't owe anyone anything.

the only time it turns into a problem is when you sample someone else's song, or part of a song and attempt to use that in your song.

Kind of like how using a certain guitar amp wouldnt= give marshall money.

I suppose it is different if you're using pre-recorded loops or drum patterns though

No, whether you are using EZ Drummer, Addictive Drums or an old Boss Dr Rhythm machine, you OWN the songs created using those. There is no distinction between physical, electronic and virtual instruments, legally.
