I personally use and love voxengo... what do you guys use?

UAD is my favorite without question.

But I don't use plugs that much...

So, I must really like them. :D

I agree, same here.

However, I've tried DUY plug-ins... years ago, and I was really impressed.

I wonder, are they still in the game and do they offer the same qualitative promise they offered years ago?

If I bought the project pack what other plugins do you consider a necessity?

TC Powercore and Voxengo are my mainstays, and I still like the Digital Fishphones stuff. You can't go wrong with Waves, but don't forget the Vasolene.

Urs plugins are great for eq. Haven't tried the compressors yet, but they've definitely replaced waves renaissance eq in my projects. They're a bit pricey though.

All of them :o

Seriously, they need a 12-step program for UAD addicts like me :(

OK, my order of priority:

Pultec Pro
LA2A
Plate 140

I could do a mix with just those three.

next:

Precision Limiter
1176LN

after that, whatever else you like.

I still have yet to demo the Precision Multiband, and I might pick up the Dimension D, I used up that demo without deciding one way or the other.

Ah its good to see someone else using WaveArts. I bought all their plugs and I love them, they're currently the only thing I use, but thats mostly due to me trying to get used to them. They really are great sounding and a great value. I especially love trackplug, and IMO masterverb is the best plug in reverb under 500 bucks.

I am just using the demo, but I love the warm preset.
I hope I have the cash to but them by the time the demo is up.
