Rockin hard. Great guitar sound. What I like best about this is the way the guitar grooves with the drums. Tight mix too..as usual

Thanx alot, Bull. Just got through listening to "Good Times". I'd like to have that sound on my tune. I'll probably use yours as a reference when I re-mix this, just for the in-your-face-ness of it. Thanx dude.

First... Awesome.

Second, I think the rhythm gits sound kinda' processed...or maybe just too scooped, but I'd like to hear what they sound like with a little more middy-meat. That's a technical term, "middy-meat," lol.

The only other thing that stands out to me in a negative way is you may be a bit fat on the really low end...like below 60hz. It's cool that it moves some air on the big speakers here, but I'm not sure it wouldn't make the speakers in my truck crap out.

Last, ... Awesome.

....to be able to post a thread around here...I tried posting this thread 3 times, so I hope they don't all come up once I complete this one.

EDIT: Or sure.....this one with the stupid title comes through. I hate that Murphy guy.

Hey guys...Just finished this tune. Let me know if there's anything that needs fixing, I'm sure there is.

Comments and suggestions are always appreciated. Thanx

(It should play right away, if the player doesn't screw up. Make sure you're listening to BROKEN BORDERS

Ask FordVan....I think he'd say Chessrock :p

Easy.......just a joke! :p
Hehe....No problem. Thanx for the advice, JM. My guitar is miced, but I do go through a Yamaha DG STOMP before going into an amp and micing it. Either my EQ isn't right or the distortion sound I'm dialing up is flimsy. Something I have to work on. Thanx.

The low end: Hmmmm...I think this is my first tune where I took everything completely out of my kik. I noiced it really gave it a lot more low-end. I should get off my ass and reference this in my car and see what happens. You may be right. Thanx, dude. It didn't even cross my mind.

Thanx KIKKIS....yes, I joined Bandzoogle last May and I love it. For an HTML-illiterate like me, they make uploading and hosting and changing things so easy. Do you have a site there?

Nah I've been thinking of using it though.

A very good song. I really like this alot. All the instruments have great sound, and the singing is very nice. Great words also.

I listened to some of your other songs, and they are really good also. Thanks for sharing this. :)

Pretty Woamn...I'm sorry I didn't respond to this sooner. It went to page 2 and I forgot about it. :(

I really appreciate your comments. Feel free to post in the forum on my site nest time you visit. That goes for everyone.

Good stuff as always. Guitar sounds a little mushy/soft (i like it). Keep rockin man.

Thanx dude. Still working on that guitar sound. :)

Mushy guitars - where I come from that would translate to a dish of mushroom in a guitar.
I like the guitar sound,
I love the song,
OVER the BORDER (down USA way)?

Great tone and in-the-pocket feel of the gtrs/drumset. Cool lead gtr lines. Just my own preference, but I think the opening would be stronger if the gtr bit before the band comes in was shortened to just one or two licks.

Well, as always, you suck. :D :D
Really though, you just keep getting better. No nits; just wondering if the song would have even more guts if you growled a little more? :) I know it's not your normal vocal thing, but the song kicls major bootay, and the vox, while clean and on target, just don't sound "mean" enough to keep up with the powerhouse band.

I liked the "out of time" reference, and how you took a full measure to settle into the new meter, it added effect to the lyric. I'd have screwed the pooch by dropping clean into the new meter. Great choice!

Your new CD rulez, man.
