Hello! If any of you know a program that can perform just like a tape recorder. Here is what I need!
I record actors in a studio: i want to use a computer to improve quality over analog (as a project) so I need a software to act as a tape recorder. Just like on the tape rec. you hit rec-play and you record. But when the actor makes a mistake, you rewind, play back the piece and then hit record to continu recording! I couldnt find a rec. software on the market to go from play to record on the fly... all of them create a new file or stop recording. Please if any of you know of such a softeware I would appreciate it.
Many companies advertise as PRO audio softw. but I couldnt find this basic task on any of the audio software which is so important for recording. If you are a serious (or pro) sound person you know what I am talking about.
