ChuckU, this is a very nice change of pace around here. Nice job with the recording and the mix. On the Studiophiles, I thought the bass could be a t o u c h louder, and I mean like .8dB, so that's nitpicky.
Man, real nice chops all around. Pass it on that the HomeRecers approve!

Great stuff man, I enjoyed this alot. I'll echo what Sluice said.... this kinda stuff is a very nice addition to this forum, and you pull it off very nicely. Very nice live recording too...... ........get that guy to quit yelling in the background though:D

Great playing, great tune, and well mixed IMHO. I could probably listen 6,482 times, at all volumes on all kinds of gear, constipated, drunk, and ill humored and pick little stuff apart looking for "errors" but I won't. My wife and I both love it, my dog Evelyn loves it too. If it were mine, I'd call it done.

Thanks for posting about this one, I really enjoyed it.

overall levels are a bit weak..... i know it's hard to get the levels up on stuff like this that is so dynamic, without pushing it into compression hell.........
overall, nice mix........ good smooth bass sound, sax is silky........
piano performance is a little shaky at places, going out on a limb on some of the riffs, but the overall vibe is confident and smooth. I'd love to hear a little sheen on the overall sound, though.... a little dull in the higher end frequencies.......
