I like it. I like everything I've heard you do. Really good music. I'd like to jam with you. Production wise.... I think you need some verb or other fx on the vocal. I think the vocal is real good on this song.... but it doesn't sound like the rest of the sound..... if you know what I mean. Almost like karokee (don't take that bad). I think some verb would make it sound more like it is part of the mix. I dunno.

Who am I to critique?? Good song... great guitar and lyrics. Really well done.
 
you aint spittin in the wind!!!!!! i think this is the best sounding mix i have heard from you!!! i didn't hear the other two version's of this?? i can hear all the instuments well, everything has it's own space, and sound's good to me!!!!!! the only nit pic i could ramble about is the kick, it's lost in there. but that's a nit. i mean this is blues!!!!!:D when the song kicked in, the first thing that i thought was....... '" the thrill is gone" i'm not really any help, but your stuff KICKS AXE!!!!!!!!!!:D

sounds better.. I still think the kick is a bit low.. the vocal sound has improved, but maybe some effect wouldn't hurt.. some verb at least.. As I mentioned, this is probably the best mix I've heard from you.. cool..
 
Much better mix and your sounding more like Jeremiah-lol. I dont know, more like Jonah? Some great blues guitar. I miss doing the blues. Hearing this makes me wanna do a blues song. I would say put more effects on the vocals , but they all tell me to do less, so maybe Im not the one to comment on vocals. A good pair of monitors will really help when ya get some.

Hey man, this is great. I didn't hear the other version, but I would personally try to get the rhythm guitar a little to the right, just to open things up a little bit. I think the levels are pretty good generally. I'm really digging the performances. Nice guitar solo...the player was pretty into it which is the most important thing!

Good stuff man! I'd like to hear more blues around here.

Thanks for the listen and comments, Bro! Glad ya enjoyed it!

Getting ready to upload the version that is probably going on the CD. Yep, there is mo verb on the vox and some other things that I did thanks to Mike over at CMF giving me some output compressor settings. I had to go and do a complete re-mix cause this thing pulled everything out in the open. LOL This mix even sounds good on my puter speaks.

I'll post when it's up.
