I'm building a 2 leaf wall in a basement studio: 2 layers 5/8 gypsum on 16" OC studs/airspace/16" OC studs alternating/2 layers 5/8 gypsum.
Each of the walls will be filled with fiberglass batts. Should the paper face on the batts face the studio side & room side, or should the paper face the cavity between the 2 stud walls?
In other words, if I were thin enough to fit in the space between the two walls would I be looking at fluffy fiberglass on either side of me or paper?
