I'm still using the original soundcard that came with my computer and I'm wondering, can I get better results from spending a couple hundred bucks on a soundcard more suited for recording, or would I have to spend over that to see a real difference? My current setup only has a line in and a mic in (standard cheap soundcard IOs) and no stereo ins. If I can get better results from maybe US$200, then what would be a good choice in this range? I have no experience what so ever with soundcards, so any help is appreciated! (And I promise I won't complain about any articles you may have bluebear!!!!!!!)
