Which Soundcard??

Hi Guys,

Basically i currently have the M Audio Delta 1010LT sound card, which i have found to be faulty, and so am sending it back to M Audio. Basically they said they would give me a full refund if i wanted, and that seems really tempting. I am up for getting a new soundcard, but to be honest, i have no idea which to go for. I just want to know some peoples opinions on the ones your using, what you have heard, etc. I was tempted to go for the Digidesign 002, but that seems slightly out of my price range due to going to Uni in September. my budget is roughly around £600 at the most, but i wouldnt mind getting a £300 mixer with that also.

You might want to do a search in this forum and in the Rack forum. It seems that this quiestion gets asked on a daily basis.

Maybe general sound card recommendations ought to be made a FAQ or sticky.

Be prepared to spend several hours going through the info - there's a LOT of it :)
