Which SoundCard To Buy???

I'm new to computer recording other then fucking around doing ruff copies but I just a brand new computer and i'm considering making the switch over to computer based recording. I already have CoolEdit Pro 2.0 which I will be using for recording. I won't be using MIDI, I just want to know what are some good soundcards out there. I was lookin at the Sound Blaster audigy 2 but after reading comments about it i'm not so sure now. Any information would be helpful

How many inputs do you want to record simultaneous, what's your budget?

right now I'm just using it to record vocals, but in the future i'm looking gettin a keyboard and a mpc. So i'm not sure how many inputs i'm gonna need.
