years ago i used to use logic audio and it was awsome because it allowed me to sync up 2 completely different pci sound cards(hoontech and isis maxi) and see them at the same time in my projects.

I have been a cubasesx user now for a couple of years and have just stuck with an 8 input device (hoontech adsp24).

I now wish to expand my setup by including an extra input device eg. lexicon or presonus firwire/usb type box. I would like to have the 8 ins from the hoontech plus an extra 4 from the other box. I figure that I could use 6 or 8 for drums and the extra Ins for amps /vocals. small rock band type live recording. would like more Ins but my budget does not allow this.

I can,t see how this will be possible in cubase becuase you have to select one driver at a time in device manager. Was wondering if anyone could suggest a multitracker software that can run mulitple device drivers simultaneously on the PC platform. any suggestions welcomed
cheers

It may have worked in the days before high performance audio drivers but these days without someway to sync the two cards, nothing will work very well. M-Audio delta cards allow for multiple cards to work together or you could try using ASIO4ALL (ASIO4ALL.com) and that will allow you to use multiple cards at once but I cant really say how well it will work
